Mainstream schools don't know enough about DLD. Post 16 was very positive as could follow interest in sport and friends were very understanding #NAPLIC25

Abraz volunteered at a youth club and then got a job. Advice to other young people with DLD is to volunteer: rewarding and hopefully get a job offer. #NAPLIC25

It took permanent exclusion and PRU placement for Abraz to get a a diagnosis of #DevLangDis before needs could be met in education. Subsequently he achieved top results at college, has a degree in social work and is the most inspirational guy!! 🙏🌟 Recognising #SLCN can be life changing #NAPLIC25
