Our Concept Cat study featured in Nursery World yesterday. It showed whole class vocabulary teaching worked in Early Years and promoted learning of abstract concepts and wait for it, this also impacted on maths. EYPP children made accelerated progress too. www.nurseryworld.co.uk/content/news...

I keep a list with key phrases the little guy uses. I look for patterns or use examples in meetings. I added 2 new phrases: “turn the curtains off” (close the curtains) “mum switch off the door” (close the door). So objects that can change position are on or off to him. #dld #devlangdis #linguistics

Our little DLDer had a skateboard lesson at school. He ❤️ it & luckily big brother had skateboard gear. We blew the dust off it & took it out for a spin. Looks like he has inherited a skateboard set.
