I need to get new shoes as (quoting my podiatrist) mine "are rubbish" Work are currently letting me wear regular sneakers instead of my safety shoes (provided I stay on the shop floor and away from heavy things) Any suggestions for shoes for someone who does 20,000+ steps per day?

Marinated some beef brisket overnight then put it in the slow cooker this morning before I left for work. Shredded it, mashed up an avocado with some lime & hot sauce and dumped a bag of slaw into a bowl. Then heated tortillas in the pan. Taco Tuesday

My friend's annual zine reviewing books and other stuff they enjoyed arrived in the mail today complete with a badge they made with a delightful festive pun.

Booked an appointment to get my foot checked out next week because the pain is gone from annoyance to this is making me miserable and grumpy and given I have to be around people all the time at work me being all grouchy and complaining isn't good.

Back at work today after three days off and when I got home I ended up napping for two & a half hours. I should probably book some proper time off sooner rather than later.
