LA parents: your kids are probably feeling stress from the fires. My kid asks me about what a “perimeter” is & knows the names of the fires. A random kid told me that if I was checking the Watch Duty map, that there are “no new fires.” Stress manifests in them differently. Extra hugs needed.

When I was 19 and had just moved to LA to start my career, I wish someone had told me how much grace I had to make mistakes. I was consumed with pursuing my career perfectly, and without stepping on toes or getting it “wrong.” I wonder… I bet we still get that grace now. Don’t you?

Imma need some of you to think about thriving out of spite. I had big plans for 2025 and I’m definitely not gonna pre-derail them for likes of Elin and Tromp. I’m getting more involved. Loving harder. Writing hornier. Having more fun. I’m gonna be so kind to my neighbors, bitch.
