Really enjoyed discussing best practices for equitable OA at yesterday's Technical Meeting of @latindex.bsky.social. It was a wonderful opportunity to engage with the organization & representatives from the 23 countries within their network on the future of Ibero-American scientific publications.

Our latest webinar, co-organized with the National Council of Rectors of Costa Rica, highlighted that the recent adoption of APCs by some journals in Latin America, has influenced the globalization of publication topics away from local issues and an increase in English-language publishing.
