I didn't realize how much time and energy went into a single chapter chapter until it was something I was too busy to work on five days a week. It's just as satisfying to get through one, but it also makes finishing a chapter much more of a relief, especially since I've got people waiting on them.

I think the reason why people decry women doing anything in fantasy as "unrealistic" is pretty simple, actually: they're sexist. Their idea is escapism isn't into a more egalitarian world but away from a world that is becoming more egalitarian.
