Just got home and it took about an hour for the line and folks to the street when we left. Many dog sightings: 2 goldens at entry door to capitol greeting/ consoling everyone and one before and father the rotunda. Devastating, touching, glad we went. May they rest in peace.

The news that the family Golden Retriever, Gilbert, will lie in state at the Minnesota Capitol along with Melissa and Mark Hortman just broke me again. He failed as a service dog because he was too friendly. 😭
