No time for April Fools, I have to observe Victory turning 33 in JST before it hits my time zone (EST).

On the 2nd of April 1993, the 1st episode of Victory Gundam aired. Directed by Yoshiyuki Tomino (Creator of Gundam), it ran for 51 episodes & had some novel as well as manga adaptations. It would debut in SRW 2G (Gameboy) in 1995. Happy 33rd Anniversary 🎉

Just rewatched Turn A episode 38 for the gazillionth time tonight and it never gets old. Harry and Kihel will always be a crucial part of my psyche even if I don't obsess over them like I used to. And Gym will always make me laugh.

A thought that just popped into my head is that there's a ton of insight into Harry's character from his VA (Inada) and character designer (Akiman), and very little from Cronicle's (Dan & Ousaka, who're also both deceased), yet Cronicle is the more interesting character because of how Tomino writes—

It's so frustrating that my favorite artists refuse to fully migrate here and thus there's almost nothing that brings me joy on my TL each day. and I've tried watching other stuff to find a "better" blorbo but my brain only wants some loser from a 33 y/o trashfire anime. It's a terminal disease.
