Absolutely not literary fiction. Yesteryear is a run of the mill thriller with no great analysis or insight. If you love a thriller this is a perfectly standard (if not a bit long).

Finished the ARC of the Red X rerelease and I highly suggest checking it out if you like queer fiction and horror. Modern classic, but heavy.

Erectile disfunction is an oddly large part of this book. 80% in and I 0% recommend reading it.

I've been supporting a very large (ERP) piece of software with minimal education/assistance this year at work and every time someone has an issue and I figure out the fix right away I am so shocked and impressed with myself. I figure out at least half of the issues fast, but still.

Also spiraling about my landlord not replacing my window unit after 2 weeks when I need to start shutting my door 24/7 to keep all these toxic plants from the cat and the heat is about to hit!!!!

All but three of the plants I own are toxic to cats and I am getting a cat roommate soon. Kinda crashing out about how to tetris 11 plants (mostly large) into one bedroom.

Halfway through the year, 89 books down, here are my favorite books so far. Leaps and bounda ahead of others is Bewitching. I really hated Silver Nitrate by Silvia Moreno Garcia, so I am very happy I gave her a second chance.
