Tariffs are happening. Print-on-demand printing with DTRPG is increasing in cost a fair bit. Shipping goes up every year. Tabletop gamers, I suggest you brace yourselves for price increases from many publishers, especially from indie folks, who don't print 10,000 of things for cheap.

I hope the people making this thing are recording their progress as audio logs on a series of USB keys and then leaving them in random drawers around the facility.

Word of day is āunasinousā (17th century): united in stupidity. A riff on āunanimousā: which comes from the Latin for āone mindā. āUnasinousā means āone assā.

Word of the Day is one I keep posting at the end of the year, hoping its time will come. āRespairā, from the 16th century, is fresh hope, and a recovery from despair. Hereās to a few drops of respair in 2025.

Etymology of the day: before a tapering piece of hanging ice was called an āicicleā it was an āickleā. In the Middle Ages people decided to add āiceā for extra oomph and (tautologically) called it an āice ickleā, until the two words eventually blended together.

Obvsly evil company etc etc but just spotted that thereās a nice little game buried inside todayās Google Doodle where you have to connect moon tiles, either matching pairs, parts of a full moon or the phases in order. Worth having a click on & messing around with
