Fuck. He was only 52. At the Gates was hugely influential for me, and you can scarcely find a more iconic album than Slaughter of the Soul. An outsized impact is an understatement. Tomas Lindberg won't get the tributes Ozzy did, but deserves every bit as much recognition for his work.

I don’t really know what to say aside from, goddamn Tomas Lindberg had an outsized impact on metal. He was just a tiny bit older than me. My heart goes out to his friends and family.

Holy hell this show was incredible. If you have any time for their style of post-hardcore, I would definitely recommend catching them if you have a chance.
