Marketing is getting out of control this year at the #SC24 exhibition! Everything is AI-enabled. I saw AI-ready network cables or AI-compatible cooling systems to name a few. I find it a bit AI-ridiculous.

Attending a nice #SC24 talk about managing I/O interference on supercomputers. However, the authors claim that part of the interference is due to non-exclusive node allocation. My experience with large-scale #HPC systems is that nodes are largely allocated exclusively. Thoughts?

One of my favorite moments at SC is about to start. It's even better when it's far from our research fields. It's a breath of fresh air in a week focused entirely on computer science. And the talk this morning is very promising! #NASA #SC24
