Until now, programming was a "single-threaded" activity. As a dev, I'd get "in the zone" and get it done. AI agents change this: you can now kick off parallel coding tasks. I see more devs do this... and this feels like brand new territory. We'll need to learn. A lot!

Linters walk abstract syntax trees deterministically applying rules to each node. LLMs match patterns in the input to patterns in their model and recursively predict what token comes next. A linter against the same code will give you the same results every time. An LLM will make random shit up :-)

I just saw an app using Google's Photo picker. How can that be so bad? Without access to Google Photos' search engine, it's literally just some recent images. Devs! Please use the Document picker! So much more powerful for users!

Tried video generation with Gemini. It generated a video but I don't have the rights to download it. 🤦‍♂️ It's unable to solve this, and as an alternative, described me the frames! 😂😂😂

Can someone tell the developers of Google Drive app about best practices on Android? This is the 5th time the upload starts from the beginning. The phone is not on battery saver or similar. But it basically stops when the phone locks or even in background 🙈
