That was a good UMass win against a very decent Toledo team. When Daniel Hankins-Sanford and Jayden Ndjigue contribute, it's a completely different team. It's so odd to say that, as the two returning upperclassmen, but this has really been Leo, Banks, and Parker's team. Total team effort tonight.

Steve Lappas went 25-39 in conference over four years and got fired by UMass. Frank Martin is currently 26-35 in his fourth season. Five of those losses are in the MAC where he makes about twice as much as the next best paid coach and four times as much as ones who’ve beat him. It’s a DISASTER.

There is very little chatter on the other site about UMass losing to NET 324 Northern Illinois and in trouble of not qualifying for the MAC tournament. That indicates apathy and a resigned fanbase. That is so much worse than anger and disappointment.

I'm not saying I want anything bad to happen to anyone, but I would love for Frank Martin to get the sniffles for a few games and let someone like Brian Steele take over. A coach that understands today's game and can probably communicate with the players. This is a good roster that's being let.....
