The city has changed a lot since my last visit 9 years ago. Slopes added where the wonky steps were from sidewalks to arcades. MIL says it’s been great for accessibility. Far more bikes out since the infrastructure’s been upgraded.

We’re at the first McDonald’s location in Taiwan. It has a special place in my wife’s heart, as she went to the elementary school across the street and her grandpa used to wait for hours in line to bring it for her lunch.

I love all these little pocket parks scattered around Taipei. There’s just so much green around the city.
