Vyöruusurokotteesta (ja rokotteista ylipäätään!) näyttää olevan laajempaakin hyötyä. Mekanismi vielä epäselvä - suojaa aivoja rassaavilta infektioilta, ja/tai treenaa luontaista immuniteettia (joka sitten suojaa muiltakin pöpöiltä kuin se mitä vastaan rokotettiin).
