Things have been looking up a bit. Mom spent a week in hospital with flu and pneumonia. But thankfully is back home and was able to get her second dose of chemo. She is doing well! Husband starts a new job tomorrow! YAY! I’m still feeling meh, but getting better day by day. Depression is a pain

Took my mom to the ER today for a brain bleed seen on her MRI. She is home now. She starts chemo tomorrow. I’m not doing ok.

We’re still waiting for my mom’s chemo to be approved. I want them to hurry up, but I know everything will become real once she starts treatment. I was diagnosed with a blood clot in my leg today. So now there is that to deal with. Everything is a mess and I’m so depressed.

One year ago today we said goodbye to the sweetest little kitty soul. Olivia is missed by everyone in our house. She was the best little lady.

has anyone dealt with a tail amputation on an older cat? Amelia has a lump on her tail that bleeds from time to time. She’s already seen the vet for it a few times. We’ve been keeping it wrapped and clean. Guess is it’s a type of cancer. Tail amputation would be the option available.

Bowie was such a good boy for his intake exam for blood donation. He was nervous at first, but some cuddles and churu got him flopping on his back for belly rubs. He’s a good goofy baby. I’m happy he gets to help other kitties in need. Cat blood donation is very badly needed in the PNW.

Hey all. I should have some art to post within a week. In the meantime, Cat update! Flapjack has been having more IBD issues. 🙁Amelia was diagnosed with HCM and hypertension, but is now on meds and doing well. Bowie is officially a blood donor cat for a local vet hospital! And Rosie is perfect. ❤️

I’m so sorry to hear of Tugrik’s passing. I first met him via live journal a million years ago. I think we may have met once or twice in person at conventions in the early days. But mostly just followed each other online. My condolences to his friends and loved ones.

This year has been A LOT of bad and I hate it. Hoping for a better second half of 2025.
