Migweek events for Thursday the 16th Ringing demonstration at the Living Seas Centre, South Landing from 8am-12pm. The guided migration walk (for those booked on it) is at Flamborough, please meet in the lighthouse car park, starts at 10am. Vismigging will be at Hunmanby Gap from 7.30am.

Today was what

is about- migration. 6100 Redwing made landfall with 560 Fieldfare, 675 Blackbird, 80 Brambling, Red-breasted Flycatcher and 7 Yellow-browed Warbler while a record count of Barnacle Geese flew over. Full details here-

The FBO migration station will be open 9am-1pm in the Living Seas Centre, South Landing. The evening talk by Mark Pearson (now fully booked) at the Living Seas Centre, doors open 7pm for 7.30pm start. Sadly the vismigging is cancelled tomorrow.
