🌺 A new group of Ecuadorian orchids have been recognised, including two new species named 𝘗𝘭𝘦𝘶𝘳𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘴 𝘮𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘰𝘢𝘦 and 𝘗𝘭𝘦𝘶𝘳𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘴 𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘴. These flowers are unique because they feature "crater-like" lips filled with nectar and bloom upside-down compared to their close relatives.
