I probably haven’t read a mass market pbk in 20+ years, but still. Growing up, mass market sizing meant I was reading a grownup book instead of a kids’ book—a really big deal, especially as I moved to books like Sweet Valley High and started sneaking my mom’s Danielle Steeles off the shelves. RIP.
