A couple of new books for the collection compliments of Mrs. Cowboy. Happy anniversary to her. She does a good job with trades and refuses to buy me single issues it makes me laugh a lot. She is really great at making me smile.

Project Hail Mary was a lot of fun. I enjoyed everything about it really. My kids both enjoyed it as did my wife who did not read the book (well she heard about 2 hours of it in the middle) we had mostly listened to and from school. I need the Lego set. And maybe to make the suit.

I am really excited for the Mando movie. So is my whole family. We will have a great time.

I really enjoyed Gotham City Sirens, and Supergirl this week. Venom was fine more Peter and MJ needed in Venom but I think finally someone said let's get the Peter and MJ part fixed because it's stupid we have much bigger problems fragile egos have to go. I hated absolute Batman but expected this.

Mrs. Cowboy and I have recently played Washington's war by GMT games and loved it. There's a long story but essentially the copy we have is in really bad shape we love the game so we bought a new one. If you are interested in this busted up copy to try it let me know.

Just got a chance to read thru this. While I'm stuck in the hellscape of America this sounds like a wonderful con, which you should go to if able and this interview is really fun. Even if some of these takes are the opposite of mine. Great work all around.

Got a chance to read the first issue of @ryannorth.ca @gavinguidry.bsky.social and #AdrianoLucas' Flash and it's smart, funny, sweet, and exciting. North bring some much-needed juice to The Flash and Guidry's art is more than up for the challenge. Loved it.

Did the jabroni horseman at Marvel mandate MJ not be on Superman/Spider-Man covers. Cause that stuff is as stupid as all the other stuff They do.

This sucks. If you don't sell from the getgo you are screwed. Think of all the Marvel books with low sales that have become sales juggernauts later in life because they had someone thinking long-term opposed to this short-term nonsense.

The realities of selling comics on eBay are wild. I sold a book for 3.00. They paid 6.50 for shipping. eBay shipping taxes and fees were 8.35. After an appropriate comic mailer and tape a label etc I suspect I "made" 20 cents maybe 50.

Cowboy Jr and I are very excited for the new movie. I am happy that he is getting better with his shots. He's a good lad.

I had a dream Marvel fired the people who refuse to honestly engage with the customer and the new people actually put people on books that make sense and tried different things instead of just coasting off the shoulders of those before them, and strategies from the 90s. It was awesome.

My dog is in palliative care. I don't have long left with him. Today is a good day and he went out on his own no help needed and I got to watch him walk around his yard one more time. I am really going to miss him I love him so much. He has not been a perfect dog but for 15 years he's been perfect

The Hilton rep not understanding why I was cancelling my accounts and not using them any more was sad/maddening/ and made me laugh. His follow up with he has friends in Canada who won't come to the US and him not getting that was also something.
