In my world, Zhaikes is basically "royal" and has a lot of power. Since Lara is from Earth, she doesn't know any of this. To her, he's just a monstrous, smug idiot who happened to "save her" from an alien planet. Actually, he attacked the place and... 1/2 . [ #Fremdling ]

Nanu, I think. They start off clashing with each other, but Sy would definitely take notice of Nanu’s attractiveness first. In terms of actually caring about the other, that grows for both of them around the same time. But the seed for Nanu’s feelings happens just a bit earlier.

Looking back at some of the oldest sketches and seeing one where Sy is shooting some kind of magic arrow from his hands instead of a rifle is.. weird… 😂 I had completely forgotten about the tiny period in time where I hadn’t decided whether magic would exist or not. #worldbuilding #proximitycomic

Sy’s world doesn’t have normal climates or seasons. The city is pleasantly warm all year round where he’s spent most of his life. Far away outside the city it can be absolutely frigid. He’s not a fan. So he’d pick hot, though he’s never experienced actually hot temperatures.

I’ve actually thought about this a lot already. Sy is big into electro (EDM) and pop music. He likes being able to dance or sing along to it. He has no shame and will do so regardless of anyone seeing/hearing. He might try to drag you into dancing along too actually.
