In @ricagv.bsky.social statement, @davidhogg.bsky.social says, “I know that Rhode Islanders deserve a strong bill that not only bans the sale but also the possession of assault weapons...The Senate version does not include possession, which is beyond unacceptable.”

As federal enforcement of gun laws weakens, RI must strengthen our own laws. The bill banning possession of assault weapons already passed the House, has the support of the AG, and 24 of 37 Senators are sponsors. Please call your Senator today and ask them to support H5436A at the vote tomorrow.
