In 1958, Tina travelled from Trinidad to join the NHS and trained as a nurse. However, Tina’s main passion was a career in midwifery. Tina trained at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust as a midwife, starting as a community midwife before being promoted to the position of sister!
