This literally happened to me with a friend who, after being in a D&D group! And everything! For years! turned to me at brunch and said “Do you actually know my real name?” For a brief moment, my fursona was a deer in the headlights.

Strong depression and anxiety day. Don't want to go to sleep. Might get a 3-year term extension at work, about which my feelings are mixed. I'm so ready to be done. To move somewhere less dysfunctional. But that place needs to exist first. Alternately, win lottery, retire, also good.
