The emergency YCHs continue, this time with a flag waving GIF just in time for pride month. A flag waving loop in the style of my fan animations.

Car mechanic appointment tomorrow. Got a tire change, and I asked to check one of the brakes because it makes weird sounds when I brake at low speeds. Hopefully it's nothing that will get in the way of my Whinny City Pony Con plans.

Just completed the first batch. I'll be running it until Whinny City Pony Con at least.

Just queued up five YCHs for renders for the night. I may have found an approach to optimize renders for the eyes since I'm currently working from my laptop, but I'll have to add that in tomorrow. I don't know how much this will help however, the eyes alone double the rendering time needed.

So the first five YCHs are currently rendering. Turns out working from an external drive was a mistake. My Framework really doesn't like keeping external drives connected constantly and it results in glitched frames that I have to fix.

So I'm running the YCHs from my hometown for the next few days, working from my laptop just reminds me how painfully slow Toon Boom can be.

I should get news in about two weeks. Until then I'll keep the YCHs running. So ... There's one good news I was waiting to share if that was gonna work out.

Well my stress levels are currently off-the-chart. Lots of things outside my control right now, and on top of that I had to deal with a toilet that decided to find the worst time to break.

So I'm doing out of pipe work on my project while I'm visiting my hometown. I have to render 8K background plates from my laptop, on CPU. Gonna be rough.

So this might have gone a bit out of hand. The comps for the project are now reaching 12 hours to render. Granted, those are render times on Luna and Dinky, on Celestia this might only be four hours, but that's still only for 15 seconds of footage.

I need footage with rain for my project, so I've been waiting for enough rain. Guess I'll stay up until 4AM for this.

Thinking how in summer camp one year, our camp monitor went with us to Canadian Tire to buy CFL light bulbs to swap incandescent light bulbs in the neighborhood. We swapped light bulbs outside without asking. Those people must have been really confused seeing brand new light bulbs out there.
