So this might have gone a bit out of hand. The comps for the project are now reaching 12 hours to render. Granted, those are render times on Luna and Dinky, on Celestia this might only be four hours, but that's still only for 15 seconds of footage.

I need footage with rain for my project, so I've been waiting for enough rain. Guess I'll stay up until 4AM for this.

Thinking how in summer camp one year, our camp monitor went with us to Canadian Tire to buy CFL light bulbs to swap incandescent light bulbs in the neighborhood. We swapped light bulbs outside without asking. Those people must have been really confused seeing brand new light bulbs out there.

So it dawned on me, it seems like act 2 of my project only has seven shots requiring Cycles renders, everything else is EEVEE. I should be able to render them before the weather warms up.

Only four shots left to complete for act 1. The Toon Boom animation should be done rendering tomorrow morning, and I should then be able to do the comp for the shot pretty quickly.

I'm still physically and mentally drained from the convention. Taking the rest time to render shots and do comps. I already got five shots complete with a sixth that only has 14 frames left to do.

So I made chicken alfredo earlier today, haven't had time to do it in a while. It just dawned on me while eating that I've been running on fumes physically and emotionally for a while now.

Well I didn't think the PCD for Furnal Equinox would hit hard, and I guess I'm wrong. The con was the end of the convention season, so I'm effectively being hit by stacked PCD with at least ten back-to-back conventions.

I got one last one now in my fridge, I'm thinking of keeping it for when I get great news like how some people hold on a bottle of wine for special celebrations.

So I'm back home safely from Furnal Equinox, my 53rd convention ever. It seems to be the only one I have in spring, meaning this was the end of the convention season. I'm looking forward to the next one!

Now in Morrisburg, about an hour and a half away from Montreal. I gotta say, I'm a little jealous that Ontario gets to have nice highway stops with restaurants and gas stations while Quebec only has one in the middle of nowhere.

About halfway back to Montreal. The windshield repair took a lot longer than expected so I'll get back a bit after midnight. Thankfully it seems like the crack is no longer a problem.

So I'm stuck in my car for another hour while I'm repairing the windshield crack so ... AMA?

Third stop in Newcastle, I managed to get a tiny crack on my windshield. I'll have to buy a repair kit before returning hope. Otherwise the road is alright. Drivers are as impatient as ever.

First stop in Brockville for food. I was thinking during the drive, this is my seventh road trip to a con with this car. Can't talk about luck yet, but someone dropped a ladder on the highway and I had to swerve to avoid it.

Last prep before the convention road trip. It dawned on me that it's the seventh convention road trip with this car. Thankfully it's not as challenging of a drive as Ponyville Ciderfest last year. I did that one to prove myself, but next time I'm flying to that con instead.
