It was a privilege to help judge the Descendants Black history month children’s art event in Acton with Andrew Charles and Trustee Janet Amarh. All the children worked really hard during the 3 days.

In a debate on parks and trees, @cllrgarymalcolm.bsky.social revealed that fraud has occurred relating to tree watering and @andrewsteed.bsky.social pointed out the importance of parks to health.

Great to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Brent River Park with the team who are helping to improve our open spaces in and around Ealing. Ealing Lib Dems are supporting their great work and future plans.

Great to spend the day with fellow Ealing Lib Dem councillors and team to be at Ealing Soup Kitchen to experience the great work they do in action, from providing hot meals/clean clothes to bingo, chess, to haircut and computer classes. This has been a meaningful day for a worthwhile cause.

Yesterday evening I had the pleasure of being at the Iftar at The Baitul Futuh Mosque #Morden hosted by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community. Some of us went pn a tour to learn about the history of the building.

In the Ealing Council budget debate Councillor Connie Hersch spoke of the difficult times ahead for many families with government and local Labour benefit and service changes and the need to expand advice services. Liberal Democrats standing up for all residents.

In my Council Tax budget speech, I attacked Labour for their terrible record of repairing Council homes of urgent and non urgent repairs. And the large number of ombudsman cases. I demanded an apology from the Council Labour Leader for this. I await his apology.

In the financial Council Tax debate Liberal Democrat Jonathan Oxley spoke about Labour run Ealing Council consulting on Children's Centres whilst baking in savings to close half of Ealing's Children's Centres. Liberal Democrats budget amendment saves ALL Children's Centres.

Question by Cllr Andrew Steed on Heathrow got a response from the Labour spokesperson at Council meeting saying they were possibly against Heathrow expansion. Liberal Democrats are 100% against Heathrow expansion. #simple #clear

I asked the portfolio holder re the @eveningstandard.bsky.social exposé that managers tell wardens there is an “expected ticketing rate of 1.27 per hr” which “will be checked? For 8 hrs it will come to 10 or 11 PCNs minimum… it is GEL policy.” He said they have “performance benchmarks” not targets.
