Just finished JADE CITY by
@fondalee.bsky.social
(recommended by my friend Kris after I enjoyed THE BONE RAIDERS). Not the same tone of story. It took me a few chapters to adjust my expectations. After that, finished it in a day. Can’t wait to get into its sequel, JADE WAR. So many good characters.

I'm having a tough time getting through the second draft of my first novel. I keep distracting myself with other things. The worst part, I know I'm doing it. It's not a question of motivation; I've got that. It's just good old self-doubt. So, I don't write and, rather, do things I know I'm good at.
