Yesterday, we had the pleasure of hosting the Department for Transport (DfT) Senior Analyst Team at Virtuocity. It was a fantastic opportunity to showcase our ongoing work, share insights, and explore how advanced simulation and behavioural research can support evidence-based transport policy.

LIDA AI ON CATCHUP - NEW EPISODE Our Scientific Machine Learning group recently hosted a presentation on AIFL, a deterministic LSTM-based model under development for global daily streamflow forecasting. Maria Luisa Taccari spoke from the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts - ECMWF.

Simulating how diseases spread in a population To improve public health (like planning better vaccine strategies), we need data science models that consider all the different interacting factors together, that contribute to infection rates.
