I'm still early on and I generally am enjoying the show, but 4 episodes in and still doing flashbacks to episode 1 in Noir is making me lose my mind. I get what it's trying to do, but just having whole ass scenes from episode 1 play out is too much and feels not confident.

Da Garn is the latest in the line of Sunrise's back catalog remasters and brings the Brave remaining remasters down to half. Anyway, the differences here are staggering.

I doubt I'll finish this by the end of October(unless I get insanely hooked) so no more show finishing for this month because the random number gods gave me this 26 episode beast and I'll be starting it tomorrow.

ok how the hell does OG Rozen Maiden S2 have the highest average score out of the 3 TV seasons that's baffling. It's the same on Anilist and MAL

I'm kinda shocked at the cliffhanger ending?? I know the sequel manga was still ongoing, but I dunno I expected a nice enough anime original ending, this feels like a straight up sequel tease, odd choice! Honestly kinda annoying and makes things end on a sour note...

As legendary and important to the genre it is, I don't think I've LOVED anything Mazinger I've seen. I'm pretty sure I read the OG manga at one point(haven't even logged it, but I did read it), Mazinkaiser I finally watched last year and was let down after wanting to watch it for years.

It's insane that someone here can get their account tagged as rude for the smallest thing, but they asap verified all these american gov accounts that are just posting horrid shit lol

Time for the 2013 version

Was just talking to a friend about Silver Mountain translations still being dead, but I open mangadex and see this, got hyped for a moment, but then I noticed that they were all basically posted on the same day, so big chance it's MTL since there's no group info or anything.

Finished it up and yeah I feel this strongly, it's a shame. I think the Barasuishou/Father twist was neat, but it doesn't service the story at all. We get the reveal, Jun reacts for a bit and Laplace has already dealt with everything. So it just makes me wonder what the point was, for all of it.

Almost done with S2 of the OG Rozen Maiden because I've been putting it off for too long and sad to say it's weaker. From what I know people either really like OG or 2013 and think the other one is bad, so I'm curious about 2013 which is next, but I did love S1 of OG a lot.

Went through 11-18 today(15-18 being back to back recaps with some small amounts of new narration) and it's given me a bit more, definitely something to be curious about. It's so odd though, I'm still not bored, but also I'm not feeling this as a vibes only experience.

Hit 10 episodes on Wolf's Rain and I feel so off about it. I don't dislike it, I'm not really bored either, not like it's a pain to go through an episode and yet I feel like I have yet to see a real hook for the show beyond "oh, this world looks kinda interesting"

I'm used to mob characters having less detail, no eyes and etc... and it's often easy enough to ignore, to the point you don't even notice it. But in Watashi wo Tabetai, Hitodenashi EVERY single character besides the main 3 has no eyes and it's so much that it's actually distracting lol

Was at the dentist today and told her my basically 1st goal(along with washing the dishes every day) with my therapist was brushing my teeth every day and that I did start doing it, more than a month at this point consistently and she genuinely lit up with a big ol' smile.

I've played & fully beat Digimon Story: Time Stranger for review and it's up now. The entire game felt like playing through a polished, refined PS2-era JRPG -- both with the highs & lows that come along with that era of game. Even if you're not a fan of Digimon, I still think it's worth playing.
