Finally watched the Reze movie and as a manga reader who has now gone through that ending in animated form as well I still stand by this

I remember not too long ago (aka past few years) finally sitting down to watch Kaiba because hey it's beloved and that era of Yuasa I was still confident in and I was shocked that I couldn't even finish episode 1. I didn't even have an actual reason, it just felt to me really weird and off.

Been thinking about it and next year I'll make it a goal to complete 5 games(the dream) or at the very least 3. I'll think about what they'll even be, but I'll try to go for some diversity instead of just a single genre or one big franchise/series.

Given that I'm not really much of a gamer I find my list of completed games(gotten to some ending, not all/100%) weirdly funny, although Atelier Ayesha isn't there for some reason but I did beat the final boss there too. Some real casual titles and then some real random ones.

Some may call it defeatist of me(I don't think it is), but at this point I don't even blink at *most* hypocrisy by awful people. Many still try to own them, showcasing what they said in the past or how they acted yada yada, but to me it's just like "yeah, they don't care, they're evil"

New Pokemon episode was so good

I'm sure that Ideon is a fine show and I'm sure I'll enjoy it well enough, I'm also sure Anno really was inspired by it(and many other works), but the way people talk about it just because Evangelion is a gateway anime is sooo annoying.

I gave in, I can't wait for somebody else maybe picking it up one day and I don't think it's MTL? Obviously can't say for sure since I don't read Japanese, but things read well, all the funky names are consistently translated the same and I haven't gotten confused about anything.

Time to start something I've been meaning to for far too long

Surprised just how much I've been enjoying the new Digimon. Ghost Game got kinda tiring even if it was fun at first because the plot was not moving AT ALL and the episodic aspects weren't good enough to carry the lack of progression.

Pretty solid watch, had a fun time with it. My issue is that I wanted just a bit more character work, felt like there was good groundwork for it. I don't mind some of the world building/lore vagueness because that's how his works usually are.

Watching Moonstruck currently and I'm enjoying it a lot

Started Dual! Parallel Lunlun Monogatari and it's been real fun and cool, I think I have a big soft spot for stuff by Masaki Kajishima. Also just nice to finally see the source of the robot that appeared in that one episode of Tenchi Muyou! GXP near the end.

Rolling my eyes at what is basically south korean 4chan starting some dumb drama to "expose" Fujimoto because he references stuff(thus calling him a plagiarist) and then that going to him supposedly grabbing the design of Reze from some boring porno lol

Super interesting show because it was so close to being truly Great. Brings up little plot lines that don't really amount to much and yet the big ones get handled really well, real good attention to detail in terms of setting up some things.

10 episodes in surprised it doesn't ever get mentioned at least by yuri fans, it's pretty solid and consistent. Having a good time with it for sure, excited to watch the last 3 episodes tomorrow.

Reading the new Zatch Bell 2 chapter since I forgot when it first came out and what I love about the series, but especially the sequel is that they just love stacking shit so they shoot out the craziest attack. Feels very video game-y but in a good way.
