Saw Taper’s Choice last night. They debuted a bunch of new songs. Some were pretty good, some less good. The show was a little uneven (likely because they debuted so much), but the highs were very high. And as always, it’s a real joy watching Dave Harrington play guitar.

Go see SML if they come to your city! Maybe travel to another city to see them. Maybe invent a time machine to go back in time to catch the show I saw last night.

Had a lot of fun at Pink Talking Fish last night. Total dance party and my buddy said it was one of the best shows he’s been to in the past couple years. He’s now cautiously open to seeing an actual Phish show.

Pink Talking Fish tonight and JRAD on Saturday. My two favorite tribute bands, because both are doing some new and interesting stuff with the source material. Although to be clear, there’s a massive gap between JRAD and PTF.

Beta Band put on a really awesome show. Definitely worth seeing if they come to your town! I’ll try to write more later, but was very pleased I went. And for $19 - quite the steal!

Man, Watchhouse was really incredible last night. The Fire was the perfect venue - such great sound, so intimate. Just a really beautiful, powerful, emotional show. Didn’t totally get the appeal until I saw them live.
