Path of Exile 2 is so good btw.

It’s such a shame that skate story didn’t ship with a level select or free roam mode, because my god I would put HOURS into that. Your only option is to replay the whole thing and honestly I think I need some time before doing that again. Incredible game, though. Gorgeous.

Skate Story is one of the coolest and most unique games I have ever played in my life. I absolutely love it.

Spent basically the entire day tinkering with Bazzite but finally I can say that I use Linux and insufferably make that my entire personality. Time to download 2tb of games.

Installed Linux (Bazzite) on my main machine this morning on a bit of a whim. So far, so good. Formatting my Steam drive is taking all day and setting up a Plex server was waaaay more complex than I thought it'd be... But we're getting there. Never used Linux outside of the Steam Deck before.

This is the standout of TGA for me, it looks fantastic. I think Remedy at their best when they experiment with weird shit, so I am very optimistic.

Woke up JUST in time to see Clair Obscur win (I am surprised) So now I’m furiously trying to catch up on trailers 😂 gosh darn there’s some lovely looking stuff, isn’t there?

Played a bit of Slay the Spire in the car today and remembered why it’s the GOAT. I’m sort of holding back on playing deckbuilders right now so that I’m real hungry for one come March. Super excited for StS2.

The Monster Hunter Wilds update is, as usual, insanely disappointing. Paid weapon skins, man. The best comment I've read on it: "im glad we get more gooner skin for the porn addict to buy so they can see Gemma's tits closer and we have to wait a whole year so the game run normally."

Any thoughts on my immediate backlog? A new games release they quite often leap up to the top of the list so I can chase hype. I also shuffle this list around based on how I'm feeling week to week.

LOOKING FOR: Friend who is a dad, into weights and running that plays exclusively weird little PC games, likes prestige TV and is selective with their anime. Bonus points if you live five minutes from my house… You could be my best friend.

I have lots of different groups of friends, all into different things… But finding just one friend with an overlapping Venn diagram of your interests is SO difficult. I think I had that when younger, but not anymore. ‘These are my skateboarding friends, these are my video game friends’ etc etc.

Entire afternoon in the kitchen, cooking a stew, baking Christmas cookies and absolutely jamming to a Jet Set Radio inspired dance party.

Gachiakuta Episode 19. Banger after banger. I just want to bottle up the feeling I get watching these episodes - everything is so cool, badass, gets me absolutely stoked. 100% a series I’ll rewatch almost immediately.

15 hours in and I feel like I'm hurtling towards the conclusion of The Séance of Blake Manor. Love these fucked up characters. Terrified of the Manor itself. The game really captures that feeling of pulling at a thread.

Two beers, put the kids to sleep, one decaf tea and The Seance of Blake Manor. My Friday nights are very different from ~5 years ago (I prefer them now).
