When my daughter was younger, her soccer team was mostly Black+brown girls coached by Black dads. They were good &ppl were MAD. They’d angrily demand birth certificates & then still insist we were lying about ages.
Imagining those same ppl w/ability to demand gender confirmation is legit terrifying.
