Brilliant time at the Jully Black concert. We were lifted out of our seats. Amazing energy and an education in modern R&B music. Shout out to Raquel Ra Brown for the thoughtful and engaging opening set. So happy to have the NAC just steps from my home.

They played Dock of the Bay and I whistled along and it felt like everybody else in the place was also whistling and maybe they all were and it was a nice moment in my head at least. But there were other smiles so yeah. Folks together in a room. Fun.
