I’ve been playing with sourdough baking vessels. A loaf pan works ok but ends up too dense. A 6” cake pan worked pretty well today, though the sides are a little wonky. I think I’ll try an 8” cake pan next.

I was dissatisfied with how the sourdough turned out the other day, larger due to lacking the proper baking vessel. It was too wide and too short. So tonight I experimented with a couple loaf pans, using one as a lid for the other. Looks a beaut!
