Been struggling to get my sourdough starter/dough to rise because “room temp” is too damn cold, so I set up a little heating station with a halogen bulb and now BOOM. The one in the back is from bread flour, been going a month, front is from rye flour, just a week.

Read this last week and could not put it down. SO GOOD! And yes the dog lives. And yes I’ve been eating many more cookies lately.
