I’ve watched a lot of congressional hearings over the last 40 years. This performance by Bondi is the single most unprofessional, non-responsive, reprehensible and obnoxious I have ever seen from any witness who has testified before any committee of either chamber.

Today’s Pam Bondi hearing, in a nutshell. Democratic Congresswoman: “Ms Bondi, there are a number of Epstein survivors in the room today. Could you turn around and acknowledge their presence?” Bondi: “The Dow is up over 50,000! Acknowledge that!”

Wait. Did I mishear this? Or misunderstand? Did Bondi say to Cong Jamie Raskin ‘you’re not even a lawyer’? He is a lawyer, graduate of Harvard law, editor of the Harvard Law Review, and constitutional law professor for 25 years.

Bondi shrieks that the effort to find those responsible for rape and abuse is just an effort to deflect from Trump’s many accomplishments? The Attorney General cannot fathom that the Epstein survivors SITTING RIGHT BEHIND HER deserve justice at long last? That day is coming.
