Good to see some many old team members and robots on the field last Friday, at the Dutch Nao Team farewell party.

Mooi dat het Moco ook een echt Amsterdamse tentoonstelling heeft, met de kunstenaars die zich door Johan Cruijff hebben laten inspireren.

Altijd fijn om maandagochtend op je werk aan te komen en er staat een prijs op je te wachten. Ongelofelijk wat de studenten in zo'n korte voorbereidingstijd voor mekaar hebben gekregen.

Team whIRLwind Amsterdam is preparing for their first competition with the new Booster K1 robots and their new name. That also means a new team shirt.

There is a new team of robots in the Intelligent Robotics Lab. Eight Booster K1 robots, which will compete in the merged RoboCup Humanoid Soccer League competition. A few weeks left to get ready for the first games in Kõln.

The new RoArm M3 AI kit arrived in the lab, compatible with the LeRobot machine learning models and tools. See how we can use this in a new robotics course.

In the final assignment of this year's Vision for Autonomous Robots course the students have to create a Visual 3D map and do the navigation on that map. Luckily there is an Aibo robot dog overlooking their progress from its watchtower.

Het is weer volle bak in LAB42 tijdens de Wetenschapsdag.

In onze buurt hebben we nu twee muur gedichten in dezelfde straat: één Oekraïens en één Russisch. Wereldvrede op lokaal niveau.

Vandaag het oude woonhuis van Snellius bezocht. Een pand met een indrukwekkende geschiedenis; een van de oudste gebouwen van Leiden dat meerdere keren is verbouwd.

Was misschien een weekje te vroeg voor de rododendrons in de Japanse tuin van Clingendael, maar op de zonnige plekjes stonden ze er al mooi bij.

Bijzonder om op 5 mei een Vrijheidslunch te vieren in de tuin waar alle struikelstenen van Nederland gemaakt worden. Wel een warm welkom van het Goethe Instituut op een schitterende locatie in hartje Amsterdam.
