this is very cool. looking forward to buying and reading it. i'd encourage people to investigate it irrespective of who they support, but at the same time, can't help but think it's a positive thing that a city supporter would write such a book given the wider context. we're losing our clubs.

taking enjoyment when rival teams lose, whether they're geographical, historical or current, is fundamentally what it's about. if you can't gloat when a side you don't like loses, then there's no point. painting any mocking of your club out to be the tacit endorsement of someone/thing else is cheap.

something which always strikes me when watching psg is the sheer technical quality they've got in the middle, particularly vitinha and neves. if we're ever to get anywhere near our best again - and we might not without guardiola, and that's fine - we need to be signing that quality of midfielder.
