I say this in an upcoming Patreon post but based off the vibes of the Ocarina reveal I really wouldn’t be surprised if we get a game that looks like this.

The one thing that confuses me about the OoT remake is the reaction to it. IMO it seemed like that was more opening cutscene rather than just a teaser trailer, which in the case that it is, the game has to be a complete reimagining. In no way did that trailer signal to me that it was a basic remake.

Picked up Indiana Jones for the Switch 2 and it’s been a great experience so far. Docked to handheld is a bit rough ngl, but the gameplay is great. Wanted it for PC but my graphics card didn’t support Raytracing (lame) so I’m glad to be playing it now

While I personally am excited for Starfox (2026) and am pleased with the image quality, style, and hope the cutscenes add more characterization to these beloved Smash fighters, I don’t love that this feels like a “buy this or we won’t make a real one”-remake which I dislike.

My hot take regarding these movies is no one plays Mario games for the story, so while I wish there was more story in these movies, it’s just not what Mario’s about. If you’re expecting more than a surface level story then idk man
