Governor Pillen has volunteered McCook, Nebraska to host the "Cornhusker Clink," a callously named ICE detention facility. The plans, as of August 19, include utilizing an existing prison work camp in the area.

Hearings are set on a pair of measures to dismantle Nebraska’s split electoral allocation system. Details:

LEGISLATIVE CAP: The Nebraska Legislature maintained its new 20-bill cap on the amount of legislation each state senator can introduce. State Sen. Terrell McKinney and others argued legislators should maintain flexibility to serve constituents. From Zach Wendling:
