Today, Nebraska State Senators failed to override Governor Pillen’s veto of LB319 – a bill to end the lifetime SNAP ban for people with drug felony convictions on a vote of 24-24. 30 votes were needed to override. #neleg

We were in court yesterday advocating for improved Medicaid notices! Kelsey Arends, Senior Staff Attorney, argued before the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals that our client and thousands of other Nebraskans are being deprived of due process when state officials terminate their Medicaid.
