In fact I was hoping for the opposite; I want to see more sci comm that holds us and our relatives in the same light as everything else in their environment, just another, albeit bizarre animal doing its thing

Im actually a good deal disappointed by the choice to mostly omit hominins in prehistoric planet ice age. Every single environment showcased had hominins in the ecosystem as part of it and the potential to show our own prehistory in a more modern light.
