The drop in pressure in #reigate as #storm #goretti passed through the area overnight. We had some wet #snow/sleet before daylight but that has all but gone now.

Some of the forecasting models are predicting #uksnow for #reigate late Thursday or early Friday. It's all linked with storm #goretti and whether the low tracks across the UK or northern France. In forecasting terms it's a long way off and forecasting #snow is even harder!

That circled patch of rain bought the 2nd highest #rainfall rate I have recorded of 245.2mm/hr. The record of 329.2 was registered in September 2024. It also bought 11.2mm of rain in about 10 minutes and a few rumbles of thunder. More incoming to #reigate

June 2025 had the most days =>32ºC & also the highest mean min temp. It was the 2nd warmest June with a mean temp of 18.4, just lower than the record of 18.5. It was the windiest #June with those 2 very windy days on the 22nd and 23rd. Rainfall was 26% below avg. #reigate
