He's very skilled at singing, though, something he insisted on learning for practical & not creative reasons. Zhyk can hum & sort of sing lullabies, but never learned an instrument⤵️

One of Zhyk's greatest weaknesses is finding a wounded animal during his travels. He'll practically drop everything to tend to it, treating them carefully and cautiously (it's still a wild animal after all), and releasing them back into the environment when they're ready.⤵️

WoL!Zhyk gets the hell off the gondola & does NOT answer the question. He's healed (to a point) regarding Temur, but DT would have been tearing open that old wound. Even if they met in the aetherial sea during EW, there's a part of Zhyk that would say yes to Temur in Living Memory & it bother him.

Zhyk's learned nature is bargaining, a difficult thing to unlearn without feeling guilt, anxiety, or suspicion. Interestingly, he'll offer of himself at times without requesting equal exchange, but struggles to accept the generosity of others. Vachir's extremely generous, often overwhelmingly so.

Vachir will do broad, sweeping gestures at times to emphasize things or precise ones meant to draw attention in very specific ways. Zhyk usually only talks with his hands during bouts of anger with sharp, aggressive movements. Otherwise he's keeping his hands close to himself or fidgeting.

Considering the themes I write with are entangled in grief & mourning, it would be easy to say those emotions (and the emotions surrounding loss, nostalgia, longing) would be the twisted facets. The fear of losing loved ones, the desperation to save one's home, bargaining for more time, etc.

Zhyk has no experience managing other people in that way so do not ask him to. He'd probably abandon whatever post he's been given after a few hours and attempt whatever work he can himself. Vachir's had exactly one (1) employee, but he thinks he's done a good job! He's a bit generous overall.

Yes, but it's not a whole thing like the game mechanics—he just reaches for a new weapon or his fists! I take it as Zhyk having learned to wield several weapons over the years (some he's still learning!) and his recent skills in producing an aetherial scythe will augment those abilities further.⤵️

Zhyk's thought about it vaguely in the back of his mind. His younger years were about finding a place in the world. He didn't think about endings so much as what adventure was next. But with Temur, he 100% thought about it—their future together & growing old. After Darkhold? Not so much. ⤵️

Zhyk's strength comes from wielding an axe near daily for sellsword work and all the traveling by foot he does (walking/running/climbing/parkouring...). Vachir has a daily workout regime every morning (unless he's out on business). It keeps him in extremely good shape for his bodyguard profession!

I was encouraged not to when forming my first OC for RP (for obvious reasons) & fell in love with the character I created, someone who carries a lot more questionable morality & choices compared to what MSQ presents to us. I also enjoy having someone down to earth struggle with higher power. ⤵️
