Minneapolis declared a snow emergency. I’m staying at my partner’s so I ventured out to move my vehicle to the other side of the street. It’s pretty outside but that’s some heavy wet snow on top of hardened ice. On my car, anyhow.

My current health insurance ends next week. I just requested refills of my neuro meds & am applying for MNsure. Hoping it goes more smoothly than it did for my son. Also requesting my 1st week of unemployment insurance pay. Exciting life admin stuff! I get to visit / feed my friends' cat too.

Our orange cat figured out how to pull a bottle from the wine rack and dashed it to the hardwood floor. It broke. It was red wine. He constantly messes with everything on the buffet but we have nowhere else to put bar things. This cat is incredibly smart and cute but oh so destructive.

It’s our second holiday season with our current cats and they still aren’t messing with the tree, which is amazing. Past beloved cats would gleefully knock it over and shred wrapped gifts.

I bought two tickets for a comedy show via the Dice app. Somehow I have four tickets for the show but was only charged for half of them. I am so confused.

This country is a dumpster fire and it’s been a particularly tough Fall for my family, but we’re finding joy where we can. Yesterday my son & I rewatched Zootopia at home before catching the sequel at a theater last night. We also had a great dinner at the newly opened Nokko.

Was out of the house more than intended today. But past Sharyn left sweatpants on a radiator and current chilly Sharyn relished pulling them on. Small pleasures.
