Got my brother some ps5 covers for Christmas, and Sony sent one half thats just...wrong? Sent the disc drive cover + the equivalent side of the digital version. Tried complaining to their customer service but its outside their 30 days policy so just...wont do anything @playstation.com

With my excessive amount of free time (still looking for a new job sooooo) I've been able to play games as they release for a change. Ive really been enjoying Tales of the Shire! I actually enjoy fishing in the game which is wild. Its a nice peaceful experience that is very much what you make it.

So it turns out that ever since we've lived in this house, about 3 years, I've had my PS5 playing out of the tv speakers and not the fancyass soundbar... It took my husband looking through the settings while doing stuff with the Internet connection to see it and change it.

In-between job applications I've been watching someone play Resident Evil 7 while I paint. Just started watching them play 8. I can only describe them as 'Ethan has a bad time' and 'Even after moving to ✨️Europe✨️ Ethan continues to have a bad time'

Before I was a Producer I was a freelance artist I've not done anything art related for so long I felt apprehensive to do it again, I know my skills have degraded. I got some paint by numbers kits to fill the time while I job hunt and I can't explain the joy to be finding paint on my hands again

I thought of another thing The nightingale floors! I read about them when I was a kid and thought they were fascinating, and I just love that they actually feature in the game. It's such a nice detail, that they 'sing' when walked on

I don't have many thoughts yet about Assassin's Creed Shadows as I've barely played BUT A storm rolling in in the game is a thing of beauty I will find every animal in that game I'm absolutely horrible at stealth now Love the home base building stuff

My week has been snow and mountains in France, it has been wonderful

I generally can look past inconsistency in books but the one I'm reading is entertaining It's a book set 17thc France, in the French court. It is also very obviously written by an american and while it's really a good read I cannot believe cardinals are flying in the French countryside 💙📚

Late to this, and showing my age, but I love this. I got my original PlayStation for passing an extra exam to get into a fancy secondary school (high school) and the first ever thing I bought for it was Final Fantasy 8.

I used some holiday to have the last week off, and it was nice! My family visited, we went to the National Space Centre, and i made my brother visibly confront his own mortality by reminding him of my age. Also I've had the flu since Wednesday... but otherwise very relaxing.

I'm really happy with how festive my home looks this year, having the house painted has made such a difference too

Finished watching the Silent Hill 2 remake playthrough and it was so good I'm just all in and going to watch plays of the older games too. Original Silent Hill next up. I was about 11 when it came out and absolutely not old enough to play it but dang I was so impressed at the time.

Not sure if worrying or entirely expected but we worked out it kinda makes economic sense to buy a whole wheel of parmesan and freeze it rather than buying a chunk of it every couple of weeks

I took today off to use up some holiday. Seeing Wicked later but so far my whole day has been knitting a gift and watching a no voice over let's play of the Silent Hill 2 remake. Adored the original but very aware that I'm too baby to play it with updated graphics.

We released a new content update for Gang Beasts yesterday! It's been a ton of work but I'm so proud of my team (as always) And I finally have a raven kigu costume in the game!!
