I beat Mega Man X!

Guys this is insane. First thing I ever design for 3D printing, made it for no reason other than to learn. It's a fucking game controller. Uses no batteries, size of a credit card and fits in a wallet! I'm playing games with it, like this thing REALLY works. Patent pending, patent pending, aamp ip 😅

I was laid off today and am now seeking new opportunities. I hold a Computer Science degree with a specialization in Software Engineering as well as English → Dutch translation work. I’m open to remote roles and freelance projects in software engineering, development, or translation.

I've never properly tried to create a 3d model and thought maybe I'd learn over the next 6 months or so and this is what I created day 1 first attempt! It's all arbitrary and just learning how to make shapes and shit so not for anything in particular but for some freehand practice I'm proud of it 😅

Shit I invented something! Was asked if I ever really gave touch controls a try for retro games. Problem is you can't hold a run button and jump by rolling your thumb. Counts for Only one touch. Thought to wear an o-ring to split touch but they are conductive! Sliced can separate multi touch inputs!

I'm modifying a ded Arcade 1UP cabinet. Wired the trackball to USB using the internals of a mouse. It works on a PC now just have to figure out some mounting of a monitor which is all junk I already have!

Wired an enter key from a numeric keypad into the start button of the arcade 1up cabinet that dies and I am modifying. Got a touchscreen monitor in now and it fits in snug. The controls are all USB now! Time to connect in a PC ! all made from refuse parts Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I have completed and uploaded “Teleport Temple 4”, my latest #QuestMaster creation. I’ve expanded the dungeon quite a bit compared with Teleport Temple 3, and this one uses custom music as well as the duration feature that was just added to the game in v0.11.20.

Despite not playing the game, I still listen to the soundtrack of Valkyrie Profile today. It's got some great music in there 🎶

There's something fun about playing on a wooden box tv with actual hardware and period appropriate styled new wireless controllers which is nice since I don't have to have controller wires coming down off the top of the tv like this

Got wireless controllers all connected. Using wireless Famicom controllers too!
