Building off this, I am very consciously aware that online learning straight up DOES NOT WORK FOR ME. I was so aware of it that when I decided to go to school to become a vet tech, I knew I had no other choice than to do an in-person program. +++

Our world (or at least the U.S.) is so fast-paced now, and so hyperfocused on the idea of “productivity” that we see education as a hurdle to job security, rather than a tool to become more whole people. It’s detrimental to the pacing of education, and how we structure our methods of learning.

Not sure if this counts but Digitizing money management really put into perspective for me just how pointless and stupid the concept of money is. It doesn’t feel real when it’s just a number in a bank account app. Ideally, we’d just… share necessary, tangible resources, & money wouldn’t even exist.

We are a social species, and we have always prevailed through cooperation. Caring for our sick. Raising children we didn't sire or birth because they were part of our village or extended family. We are not breeders and predators, we are communicators and survivors. We evolved to UNITE.
