One thing about living in a city while the local sports team is in playoffs is that the city is full of hope. That’s in short order these days and it feels good. Thanks for the hope Mariners. I’m not disappointed, I drank it all in. Great job.

Had to take a month off hockey due to an injury and had my first game back today. Feeling good where I had that injury but even better, I feel great emotionally. It’s amazing what getting that work out in will do for your mental health.

I don’t know why I’m such a weird sleeper. Woke up in the middle of the night and I had stripped my pillow cover off my pillow and it was just piled up beside it. How? Why??

There’s hope! For those that are curious Puck is a smilodon (not a saber-toothed tiger we don’t call them that anymore, besides I only have a couple of stripes). Specifically, Smilodon gracilis. We’re cool creatures, take some time to look us up!

As much as I don’t love the news about saber pockets… …how cool is it that scientists are discovering these things?? These fellas existed during the Pleistocene period and they’re able to find evidence about these creatures here and now! Science is so cool!
