Probably my favourite shot from Shetland, looking out from the sea-facing doorway at the Late Norse farm of Sandwick South, Unst. Once much further out from the water, it is now rapidly eroding on the beach. The 'cow-shaped' form of this doorway (as this was a byre) is now no longer apparent.

Choughs in Love this pair live close near here and they will be faithful until one dies but choughs can live for twenty years and their spirituality lives far longer on the fresh sea air waves I think their name comes from a high pitched cry that easily can be translated into 'chough!' #poetry
